40 years of changing lives

Cheshire Without Abuse is celebrating 40 years of changing lives this year with a campaign to raise £40,000 to help support survivors and their families.

Just £4

provides a welcome pack for a survivor of domestic abuse or their child at our safe crisis accommodation.

A £40 donation

can provide a 90 minute support session with a specialist domestic abuse worker for a survivor of domestic abuse.

Can you donate £400?

to enable a survivor to take part in an 8 week recovery programme?

£4000

will refurbish an ENTIRE UNIT of safe crisis accommodation.

Donate and help us make the change

Fleeing from domestic abuse may mean starting completely from scratch, so donations of new clothing, shoes, toiletries, and bedding can really help set the foundation for a positive change for the men, women and children we support.

Our trained volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that donated items are sorted and put to the best possible use.

We can accept clothing, shoes and handbags although these will now be sold on for recycling purposes so that the revenue this secures can be re-invested in the form of vouchers that we can issue to our service users and refuge clients to enable them to purchase items of their choosing.

New unwanted items/gifts such as clothing, toiletries, household items, dry goods or tinned food and children’s toys (with a CE mark) are always welcome and we will be happy to pass these on to our clients.

If you wish to donate please call 01270 250390.

From time-to-time we may also make one-off requests as indicated in our full policy.
